Stand Type Food Wrapping Machine (With Check Weigher & Printer)

The Stand Type Food Wrapping Machine with check weigher and printer is a combined wrapping, weighing, and marking solution for packaged food products. It is deployed in factories, food processing plants, and logistics packing zones where compliance and consistency are critical. The system operates at approximately 15 packs per minute and supports individual product weights from 50 g to 3 kg. It is commonly used across Saudi Arabia in regulated food handling operations.

This ATCOPACK wrapping unit is engineered for production lines that require precise weight control and printed pack identification without manual intervention. Products are placed on trays, wrapped with stretch film, weighed inline, and printed with essential information before discharge.

The system is suitable for high-volume food operations in Riyadh and Jeddah, where centralized packing and distribution demand repeatable accuracy. It integrates easily with preparation tables and downstream sorting or dispatch conveyors, minimizing operator handling.

The machine supports packaging sizes up to L 350 mm × W 270 mm × H 170 mm and processes PE or PVC films selected according to product size. Weight verification occurs automatically during conveyance, ensuring packs stay within declared limits. Print activation is synchronized with the weighing cycle to avoid mislabeling.

Designed for continuous industrial use, the structure resists humidity commonly found in food rooms. Control interfaces allow operators to manage film feed, conveyor speed, and print parameters independently, supporting diverse SKUs within a single shift.

Key Features

  • Inline weighing system linked directly to film wrapping
  • On-machine printer for variable pack information
  • Suitable for fresh produce, protein trays, and ready meals
  • Compatible with multiple tray shapes and sizes
  • Electronically synchronized conveyor and sealing process
  • Film width adjustment for different pack dimensions
  • Stable operation under high daily production loads
  • Food-grade stainless steel contact surfaces

Advantages:

  • Efficient packaging: With an average of 15 packs per minute, the packaging efficiency is about three times that of the manual.
  • Multifunctional: It combines the functions of automatic packaging, weighing and printing labels to save costs
  • The packaging is firm and beautiful: Compared with the manual packaging, the machine are used to make the packaging more firm and beautiful, which helps to enhance the brand value
  • More choice of consumables: A variety of films (PVC/PE) are available for cost savings; some brands of similar equipment can only use the specified film.
In addition, it can be packaged with or without trays, and is suitable for trays of various shapes (such as round, hexagon, etc.)
  • High quality material: The whole machine adopts stainless steel to adapt to the corrosive environment such as high humidity; the similar equipment of other brands only partially or completely does not use stainless steel, and is easily corroded under harsh environment
  • Comfortable: The operation interface is simple in design and fast in response; it adopts special mute processing, which is less noisy and more comfortable to use than other similar devices
  • Exquisite workmanship: Overall welding processing, equipment stability is better than similar equipment of other brands

NOTE

  • 1. Calculating formula for film width: Product Length + (Product Height x2) + 60 mm.
Standard film specifications: Width 350mm/400mm/450mm/500mm/550mm. For this machine, Film Width must be ≤500mm).
For example: if the calculation is 360 mm, then choose a 400 mm wide film
  • 2. Product shape limitation:
    A. For round products, you can wrap a single one (size must be within the range), two or more cannot be wrapped.
    B. For strip-shaped products, you can wrap single (size must be within the range), two or more without tray cannot be wrapped.
    C. For square products or products with a tray, the size should be within the range and formula.

Frequently Asked Questions

In Saudi Arabia, the machine is commonly installed in centralized packing zones within food factories and distribution hubs in Riyadh and Jeddah. It supports standardized tray wrapping while ensuring each pack is weighed and printed correctly before entering cold storage or outbound logistics.

The printer applies variable data such as weight, date, or barcode directly onto the film. This eliminates separate labeling steps and helps meet traceability requirements often enforced in large food processing facilities and national retail supply chains.

Yes. Operators can adjust film width, conveyor settings, and print parameters to accommodate different tray sizes and product weights. This flexibility is useful in facilities that process varied product lines without frequent equipment changeovers.

By combining wrapping, weighing, and printing into a single workflow, the system removes the need for separate scales and label stations. This reduces operator movement, minimizes handling errors, and improves line efficiency in high-volume environments.

Operators should ensure guards are in place, avoid reaching into moving conveyor sections, and follow lockout procedures during cleaning or maintenance. These practices are standard in Saudi industrial facilities and help prevent injury and equipment damage.
