Potato Peelers

Potato Peelers are batch-operated peeling systems designed for removing potato skins in commercial kitchens and food preparation workshops across Oman. They support vegetable preparation before slicing, frying, or packing. Available in 5 kg and 10 kg load capacities with output reaching up to 300 kg per hour, these machines provide consistent pre-processing performance for institutional catering, hotel kitchens, and packaged food facilities in Oman.

The ATCOPACK Italy Potato Peelers function through mechanical abrasion inside a stainless steel drum. Potatoes rotate against an abrasive plate, which removes skins evenly while preserving usable product. A cycle duration of approximately 2–3 minutes enables controlled batch turnover without excessive product exposure.

In Muscat and Sohar catering centers, the machine is typically installed close to washing and sorting stations. The 5 kg version suits smaller operations producing around 150 kg per hour, while the 10 kg configuration can handle up to 300 kg/h for higher demand environments. This allows operators to align output with daily preparation targets.

The structure is built for routine cleaning in humid coastal conditions. A front discharge chute directs peeled potatoes into containers, minimizing manual lifting. The system is offered with different motor configurations to match local electrical supply in Omani food preparation facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The 5 kg model is often sufficient for Muscat-based hotel kitchens, while the 10 kg version suits larger Sohar catering facilities. Output ranges between 140 kg/h and 300 kg/h, depending on configuration and operational planning.

The short, repeatable cycle allows operators to plan multiple batches per hour. In Nizwa catering units, this structure supports steady preparation before frying, roasting, or packaging activities without excessive labor input.

Operators should remove the perforated drum and rinse internal surfaces thoroughly. In coastal areas such as Salalah, drying stainless steel components after washing helps maintain surface integrity and prolong equipment lifespan.

Due to its compact design and moderate weight, the unit can be repositioned when workflow arrangements change. This is useful in Omani food preparation workshops where seasonal demand may require layout adjustments.

Key considerations include required hourly output, available electrical supply, floor space, and drainage access. Matching the 5 kg or 10 kg model to projected daily volume ensures efficient utilization in Omani catering and processing environments.

The front discharge chute guides peeled potatoes downward into a container, minimizing lifting and scooping. This supports safer and more organized workflow management in Oman’s commercial kitchens and food service facilities.
